- Put small\u00ader hole saw into larg\u00ader. It should *just* fit.<\/li>\n
- Work out where to put the screw hole.<\/li>\n
- Use drill punch to make drilling the curved sur\u00adface easier.<\/li>\n
- CAREFULLY<\/span> drill straight through the whole thing using a drill press.<\/li>\n
- Insert screw, dab thread lock, screw on nut.<\/li>\n
- Go drill out the access ports.<\/li>\n
- Prop\u00ader\u00adly degrease and paint the new bare steel sur\u00adface you just made!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

- Appro\u00adpri\u00adate hole saws can be had dirt cheap on Ebay.<\/li>\n
- If you have thread lock, use it on the nut.<\/li>\n
- Buy hole saws which use the screw in\/drive pin type mandrel!<\/li>\n
- Deep\u00ader sock\u00adets are better.<\/li>\n
- Drill out the hole saws just large enough to tight\u00adly insert\/screw in the screw to lessen play.<\/li>\n
- While I would have expect\u00aded appro\u00adpri\u00adate man\u00addrel com\u00adbi\u00adna\u00adtion to exist that would allow this com\u00adbi\u00adna\u00adtion prop\u00ader, I was entire\u00adly unable to find it.<\/li>\n
- The 1 3\/4\u2033 hole saw acts as guide to enlarge the hole to the 1 7\/8\u2033 that is required for the spring compressor.<\/li>\n
- It worked great for me on my w123 300td, as did the spring compressor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
